The first batch of relief materials, valued at 120,000 yuan (about 14,797 US dollars), has been sent to earthquake-hit Wenshan, in southwest China's Yunnan Province. The relief materials include 700 cotton quilts, 10 tons of rice, 20 tents and 100 boxes of disinfectants and medicine, said sources with the Yunnan Provincial Red Cross.
