From 3 to 5 September, a heavy storm hit the northeast region of the Sichuan Province, including cities of Nanchong, Bazhong, Dazhou, Mianyang, Guangan, Guangyuan, Yaan and Liangshan. The Chongqing Municipality including the cities of Kaixian, Wanzhou, Yunyang, Wuxi, Chengkou, Bishan, Yubei, Beibei, Hechuang and Qijiang has been also seriously affected.
