The Lao Red Cross will provide regular food and relief assistance to more than 5,000 people who were severely affected by tropical storm Haima. At least 35,000 people have been affected, with 19 deaths confirmed by the government.

There were 8 reported deaths, 3 missing, and 1 injured across the four affected provinces. Initial assessments show that around 40,000 individuals from 20 districts have been affected by the floods.
