Outline | Due to the effect of Typhoon Nakri (No. 12 in Japan) that traveled north from the Yellow Sea has brought heavy rain to Japan, mainly in the Shikoku area since 1 August 2014. On 3 August 2014, evacuation orders were issued to a total of 2,800 people in Kochi and Tokushima prefectures, while the city of Kochi issued an evacuation advisory to a total of 547,500 residents, on 3 August 2014. |
