Flood affected 1,000 houses in Fukuchiyama, Kyoto with one death reported, according to the Yomiuri Shimbun. One death each was reported in landslides in Tamba, Hyogo Prefecture, and Hakui, Ishikawa Prefecture, the newspaper reported.
