The death toll from the earthquake, that shook northern parts of Pakistan on Monday, has risen to 267 while 1,856 are reported injured across the country.

Currently there are 231 people reported killed in Pakistan with 185 of those fatalities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). In addition, 1,656 are injured with 1,456 of those injuries in KP.

A 7.5 magnitude earthquake struck major cities of Pakistan, including the northern areas on Monday, leaving at least 200 dead and more than 1,000 injured due to building collapses, landslides, stampedes and other quake related incidents.

Initial media reports indicate at least 110 people have been killed in Pakistan with 94 of those fatalities occurring in Khyber Paktunkhwa (KP). An additional 1000 are reportedly injured.

In northwestern Pakistan, at least 76 people were killed, including one in the city of Peshawar, according to government officials.
