Between 24 and 27 February, flooding has been reported in Jakarta, Karawang and Bekasi Regencies of West Java, and South Tangerang Regency of Banten. Nine people were killed and over 222,000 people were directly affected by the floods.

According to the Indonesian National Board for Disaster Management (BNPB), as of 10 January, the death toll stands at 61 (25 in West Java, 20 in Banten and 16 in Jakarta).
