Outline | Rio Grande do Sul state (southernmost Brazil) has been experiencing heavy rainfall since the end of April 2024 that is causing floods and landslides, leading to an increasing number of casualties and damage. According to the Civil Defense of Rio Grande do Sul, 78 people have been confirmed dead, 105 others are still missing and 175 have been injured. |
