Between Alaverdi and Chochkan, the flooding affected at least 15 villages, including Alaverdi, Akhtala, Bagratashen, Bendik, Deghdsavan, Haghtanak, Karkop, Mets Ayrum, Pokr Ayrum, Sanahin, Shamlug, and Shnogh. The flooding resulted in significant damage to infrastructure, homes, livestock, and businesses.
