According to the ASEAN Disaster Information Network (ADINet), in the past few days, 6,517 people have been displaced in 44 evacuation centres across the aforementioned states.

In Malaysia, media report as of 3 December, seven fatalities across Kelantan, and Terenggan states , Peninsular Malaysia, and Sarawak states, East Malaysia. The Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) also reports more than 144,050 displaced people across the affected area, where the worst affected is the Kelantan state with alone over 82,600 displaced people.

In Malaysia, the ASEAN Coordinating Centre for Humanitarian Assistance (AHA Centre) reports four fatalities, and 52,360 displaced people in 385 evacuation centres. The hit states are Johor, Kedah, Kelantan, Perak, Perlis, Sarawak, and Terengganu and most of the displaced people are located in Kelantan and Terengganu.

According to media reports, as of 20 November, more than 2,765 people have been displaced across Kemaman, Marang, Hulu Terengganu and Setiu districts in Terengganu state in eastern Peninsular Malaysia due to the rising water levels of several rivers.
