The heavy rainfall along the coastal side, which has continued since 23 November, triggered flash floods in the country on 26 November 2024. The Disaster Management Centre reports that, as of 29 November, 441,373 individuals have been affected across 232 Divisional Secretariat Divisions in 24 districts due to the indirect impacts of Cyclone FENGAL.
