More twisters swarmed across parts of Texas and Arkansas on Tuesday, killing one person. And late Wednesday, strong winds were blamed for three deaths in Tennessee and for closing the Nashville International Airport.
Officials had received about 100 missing persons reports in Oklahoma, but they were uncertain how many were duplicates. A master list of the missing was expected to be released today.
President Clinton has authorized emergency disaster declarations for both Oklahoma and Kansas, paving the way for federal emergency funds for home and business owners.

Residents are slowly getting back to their homes to salvage what they can from the wreckage left by tornadoes.
One day after scores of twisters tore through Oklahoma and Kansas, a second round of storms roared through the region on Tuesday.
The latest tornado touched down in the small town of DeKalb, Texas, tearing through nearly 100 buildings and injuring at least 14 people, one of them critically. A old woman was killed in nearby Titus County.
Storms were also reported in southern Arkansas, where thunderstorms spawned tornadoes, hail and rain. Thousands of people were left without electricity, but no injuries were reported.

President Clinton acted swiftly today to declare 11 Oklahoma counties and one county in Kansas disaster areas.
