6,546 houses were flooded. 728 ha. of farmland was either submerged or washed away. The total number of telephone lines down was 28,684 in Munsan, Yonchon, Chonkok and Uijeongbu in Kyonggi Province, and Chorwon in Kangwon Province but this figure is steadily increasing. |
In Seoul, the Chamsoo Bridge is under observation for possible closure, and other bridges in flood areas at Yonchon, Pochon and Chorwon are already closed. |

A flood warning was issued at 0900 hrs on July 30 for the central area of the Republic of Korea which includes Kyonggi and Kangwon Provinces.
