The flood death toll in the South reached 91 yesterday. Four people remain missing, according to the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM). About 1.8 million people and 590,000 families have suffered from the floods\\\\\\\' effects. The floods have also damaged 4,314 roads, 348 bridges, 270 drains, 126 weirs, two reservoirs, 70 government offices and 2,336 schools.

According to local media the death toll due to the heavy rain that has been affecting the southern areas of the country over the past month continues to raise. At least 63 deaths have been reported. They also reported that over 65,000 people have been evacuated across the southern provinces of the country.

The floods have forced thousands of people to evacuate to safer places.
