Outline Disaster authorities in Thailand report dozens of provinces in the northern and central regions have been affected by flooding after heavy rain over recent days brought by Tropical Storm Dianmu since 23 September 2021.Some of the affected areas had already seen flooding this month after a period of heavy rain from 16 September brought by the Southwest Monsoon.

The Thailand DDPM reports on 6 October 2021, that nine people died, while more than 298,900 people have been affected across 32 Provinces.
