Outline Heavy rainfall and heavy hailstorms have been affecting north-western Pakistan (in particular the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province) since 31 March 2024, triggering landslides and causing floods and a number of severe weather-related incidents (particularly due to hailstorms) that have resulted in casualties and damage.

According to media, as of 15 April, at least 49 people died across Pakistan, including 21 in northwest and in eastern Punjab Province mainly due to lightning, 21 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, and seven in southwestern Baluchistan Province.

Media report, as of 3 April, ten fatalities, 12 injured people and several damaged houses (of which a number of these collapsed) across seven Districts in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province: Peshawar, Nowshera, Shangla, Bannu, Khyber, Charsadda and Bajaur (the latter being the most affected).
